Vedic Astrology Three Year Program
I start a new Level 1 Course each January.
~ Each Level is 18 weeks – 2+ hours per class
~ Classes are Jan to May and then Aug to Dec. each year making two levels per year.
~ Each Level is a stand-alone component.
~ If you need to miss a class, all classes are recorded and archived and are accessible 24/7– as long as you are my student, or up to a year from the start of your last course.
~ Some homework is given and a few quizzes to see your progress.
~ Little to no math is needed in the courses.
~ All classes are via Zoom and a link is sent out to you before each class, but the link remains the same
~ I have assisstants who can tutor you one-on-one for a discounted rate to ensure that you have access to personal training and getting your questions answered outside of the classroom when needed.
~ I teach classical Indian astrology, but also include western astronomical information as well.
NOTE: If you are looking for courses to teach you a little bit about everything in Jyotisha, this might not be for you.
However, if you want a classical education where you can learn how to actually build skills for a practice that will stay with you for a lifetime, then this is for you.
Six Levels Of Study
1st Year- Levels 1 & 2
Level 1 - Foundation course that builds a strong basis in classical Vedic astrology.
Level 2 - Continues with integration of the fundamentals and adds more interpretation and some Yogas studies.
2nd Year - Levels 3 & 4
Level 3 - Focuses on how to navigate the ancient texts, or Shastras, of Jyotish in a deep study of the Planetary Yogas and interpreation.
Level 4 - Study of the Divisional Charts, or Amshas, both classical and innovative approraches - with special attention to Iyer method of subchart analysis.
3rd Year - Level 5 & 6
Level 5 - Learn how to integrate themes of life in charts and predict in Education, Career/Profession, Finances and Money
Level 6 -Focuses on Relationships, Sexuality, Children, Health & Longevity and other topics.
STEVEN HIGHBURGER
Steven has been deeply immersed in Vedic Studies since the 90’s and is a teacher of Vedic Astrology, Ayurveda, Hasta, Vastu and Sanskrit.
Steven studied intensively with the world renowned master of Vedic Traditions, Hart deFouw, and also received certification from the American College of Vedic Astrology (A.C.V.A.). Steven is a graduate of the Ayurvedic Institute of New Mexico where he spent 4 years studying classical Ayurveda under the direction of Dr. Vasant Lad.
He is on Faculty at Mt Madonna College of Ayurveda and also teaches at Southern California University of Health Sciences. Steven teaches internationally and maintains a busy private practice in San Anselmo, CA.
