This is an astrology course, and we will be using the structure and methods of Vedic Astrology. It is open to anyone with a basic working knowledge of Vedic Astrology.

There is no other knowledge base or culture in the world that compares to the Vedic Tradition when it comes to understanding the mind and consciousness. Most great contemporary minds and scholars have borrowed heavily from eastern traditions in order to understand and explain human nature and the inner workings of the mind. It is my belief that there has never been a more comprehensive and complete model for what we today call our ‘psychology’.

In this course we will explore key fundamental philosophical principles that are the basis of Karmic Theory and the key divisions of the mind as per Vedic thought. We will then learn where to find these key components in a horoscope and learn pro formas for analysis that can give us deep insight into the character and nature of an individual.

Topics Covered Will Include:
  • The inner workings of the Karmic model
  • An exploration of the Ahamkāra, Manas, Buddhi and Citta and how we can work with them in a birth chart
  • How we interface our ‘inner instruments’ with the outer world
  • Brilliant methods of taking the state/condition of the planets and turning them into concise and useful statements about the person’s character
  • How to see what are the prime motivations and drives of a person through their horoscope
  • How to be helpful in counseling a person
